Delivery & Shipping
We try to make buying with us as simple and as transparent as possible and are here to reassure and answer any questions you may have prior or post purchase.
All orders are fully tracked and if your order is placed before 14:00 (GMT), we should have it wrapped and packed to go out that evening.
We currently only ship within the UK. If you are interested in our products and live in the EU, firstly thank you, and secondly, please drop us an email to express your interest. The more we get, the sooner in theory, we’ll open up to the EU : eushipping@thecottonstory.co.uk
UNITED KINGDOM (UK)
We only charge the ‘exact’ amount it costs us to send your items. Whilst we would love to offer free shipping to all, we simply cannot afford to with our business model. We do however have every faith in our products quality and there do offer free returns should you need to send items back to us.
UK Standard Service (Allow 1-2 working days but we aim to deliver the next day) : Standard service with tracking through the courier ‘Hermes’. Order by 15:00 (GMT) to be dispatched the same working day.
Pick & packing : £1.75
Hermes rate charge : £3.25
Total cost to you : £5
UK DPD Next Working Day : Excellent service with tracking and a text message with delivery time. Order by 15:00 (GMT) to be dispatched the same working day.
Pick & packing : £1.75
DPD rate charge : £6
Total cost to you : £7.75
Orders are despatched Monday to Friday and delivered on working days.
Delivery times to addresses outside the UK are not guaranteed.
All deliveries require a signature will be required upon delivery.
If no one is available at the delivery address to sign for the goods a card will be left with details for re-delivery and/or collection. Organising a redelivery is the responsibility of the customer.
We do not deliver to P.O. Box, BFPO or freight forwarding addresses.
Depending on the policy of non-UK banks in some cases we are only able to deliver to your debit/ credit card billing address.
RETURNS
The Cotton Story takes pride in creating products of exceptional quality and fit. We will not be happy until you are. We operate a free, ’no quibble' exchange or refund policy - if for any reason you are not entirely satisfied with your purchase simply return it in its original and unworn condition within 30 days of receipt. We despatch goods as quickly as possible. The goods will be packaged securely and labelled clearly. If any item you have chosen is not available we aim to contact you via your e-mail address or via telephone within 1 working day of receiving your order.
